AWARD-WINNING VISUAL STUDIO.
Aerial photography + film.
Aerial photography + film.
Architecture, property and the built environment from a different perspective — ProfotoDesign creates considered aerial photography and cinematography for architects, developers, contractors, property professionals, hospitality brands and design-led businesses.
We use aerial imagery to reveal more than the building itself — showing scale, setting, landscape, context and the relationship between a project and its surroundings.
From a completed development to a project in construction, aerial photography and film give your work a sense of place that ground-level imagery cannot.
WHAT WE DO.
Seeing the project in context.
Seeing the project in context.
Aerial imagery changes the way a project is understood.
It can reveal the relationship between a building and its surroundings, communicate the scale of a development, show progress across a construction site or give a completed project a stronger sense of place.
Our approach combines the perspective of aerial photography with the visual judgement of an architectural photography and film studio.
The result is imagery that feels purposeful — not simply footage captured from above.

OUR APPROACH.
The right perspective, for every project.
The right perspective, for every project.
Every project has its own character, context and purpose. We take the time to understand what needs to be communicated before deciding how it should be seen.
Our aerial photography and film are shaped around the architecture, the setting and the story behind the project. Sometimes that means revealing the scale of a development; sometimes it is about the relationship between a building and its landscape, or capturing a moment in its construction.
The technology is simply the means to achieve the right result. Our experience in architecture, property and the built environment informs where we position the camera, how we use light and movement, and what we choose to include within the frame.
The result is aerial imagery that feels considered, purposeful and connected to the wider visual story of the project.
CONTEXT.
Architecture does not exist in isolation.
Architecture does not exist in isolation.
Architecture is shaped by its surroundings. The landscape, neighbouring buildings, streets, infrastructure and wider setting all contribute to how a project is experienced and understood.
Aerial photography gives us the opportunity to step back and reveal those relationships. It can show the scale of a development within its surroundings, the way a building sits within its landscape, or the connection between a project and the place around it.
For developers, architects and property professionals, that wider perspective can communicate something that ground-level photography cannot — not simply what a project looks like, but where it belongs.
Our aerial photography and film are created to make that relationship visible, giving every project a stronger sense of scale, place and context.
CONSTRUCTION.
A visual record of progress.
A visual record of progress.
Construction projects are constantly changing. From the first stages of clearance and groundwork through to structure, completion and occupation, each stage contributes to the story of how a project comes together.
Aerial photography and film provide a clear perspective on that transformation, capturing progress in a way that ground-level imagery often cannot. Consistent aerial coverage can show the development taking shape within its wider site and surroundings, creating a visual record that becomes increasingly valuable as the project evolves.
Whether commissioned at key milestones or captured regularly throughout the build, our imagery can support project communications, marketing, stakeholder engagement and the final presentation of the completed development.
More than a record of progress, it becomes a visual story of the project taking shape.
ONE PROJECT. ONE VISUAL DIRECTION.
Aerial, photography and film working together.
Aerial, photography and film working together.
Aerial imagery is most powerful when it feels connected to the rest of the project.
ProfotoDesign brings photography, film & motion, aerial and visualisation together under one considered creative direction.
That means the same project can be communicated consistently across:
Photography.
Architecture, interiors, detail and atmosphere.
Aerial.
Scale, setting, landscape and context.
Film & motion.
Movement, experience, people and narrative.
Visualisation.
The architecture before completion.
One creative partner. One point of contact. One visual direction.
EXPERIENCE.
Technical capability. Creative judgement.
Technical capability. Creative judgement.
Aerial production requires more than the right equipment.
It requires an understanding of composition, architecture, light, movement and the practical realities of working around active sites and occupied environments.
ProfotoDesign combines professional aerial operation with more than 20 years of experience across architecture, property, construction and the built environment.
Our aerial work can be delivered as high-resolution photography, cinematic 4K/5.5K moving image or as part of a wider visual production.
The technical approach is selected around the project — not the other way around.

Church Row — London.
Church Row — London.
'Reimagining a London townhouse.'
Residential property / marketing.
A considered transformation of a historic residential property, balancing original character with contemporary living — Church Row is a residential project in London’s SW6, where an existing townhouse has been comprehensively renovated and extended to create a considered contemporary home.
The project brings together the character and proportions of the original property with a carefully designed roof extension, creating additional space while remaining sensitive to the architectural character of the building and its surroundings.
For ProfotoDesign, the brief was to look beyond documenting a completed renovation.
The photography needed to communicate the relationship between old and new — revealing the quality of the architecture, the material palette and the way natural light moves through the newly transformed spaces.
Through considered composition, light and detail, the resulting imagery presents Church Row as both a sensitive renovation and a contemporary residential environment.

'Architecture at the scale of innovation.'
Workplace / innovation.
A specialist research and development environment demands a different photographic approach.
Here, the photography needed to communicate scale, precision, infrastructure and the character of a highly technical workplace.
The resulting imagery presents the facility not simply as a building, but as an environment created for innovation and advanced research.
