Client profile.
SSQ Natural Slate for 40 years supplied premium quality natural slate throughout the UK & Ireland.
SSQ brings the most outstanding slate and natural stone products to customers all around the globe across commercial and residential projects.
By combining the finest natural materials, uncompromising quality standards, and decades of passion and expertise, SSQ have become one of the world’s leading suppliers of stunning Spanish slate and Argentinian Phyllite.
Project brief.
Document the renovation of the Grade II listed Iford Manor Estate, with particular attention to the natural slate used across the project. The photography needed to communicate both the material quality of the roof and the scale and setting of the historic estate.

Purpose.
The commission formed part of SSQ Natural Slate’s ongoing marketing and annual awards programme. Rather than focusing solely on the slate detailing, the imagery was designed to place the material within the wider architectural and historic context of the manor.
Deliverables.
Architectural photography of the completed renovation, supported by aerial imagery providing elevated perspectives across the estate and its surrounding setting.
Outcome.
A strong case-study collection demonstrating the character and natural appearance of SSQ’s slate within a significant historic restoration. The aerial photography adds a broader sense of scale, creating a versatile portfolio asset for marketing and award submissions.
