Project brief.
Document a new-build detached residence in Stalbridge, Dorset, with the photography placing particular emphasis on the natural slate roof and the way the material contributes to the overall appearance of the house.

Purpose.
The commission was created for SSQ Natural Slate as a marketing case study, demonstrating its slate in a completed residential setting. Beyond close architectural views, the project called for imagery that could communicate the scale and wider context of the property.
Deliverables.
Architectural photography supported by aerial imagery, combining detailed views of the building and slate roof with elevated perspectives of the property and its surroundings. The work formed part of SSQ’s wider programme of photographic and video content.
Outcome.
A focused case study showcasing the natural character of SSQ’s slate while giving the client a broader visual understanding of the project. The aerial perspectives add scale and context, creating a useful portfolio asset for marketing communications and annual award submissions.
