Project brief.
Photograph the completed Old Pastures renovation and extension in North Devon, creating a visual case study centred on SSQ Natural Slate’s roofing material. The photography needed to capture the slate’s natural appearance while giving a clear sense of the property's scale and rural setting.

Purpose.
The commission formed part of SSQ Natural Slate’s wider marketing and annual awards programme. The project provided an opportunity to show the slate tiles within a finished residential scheme, using photography that communicated both material quality and architectural context.
Deliverables.
Architectural photography documenting the completed property, supplemented by aerial photography to provide elevated views of the roofscape, building form and surrounding site.
Outcome.
A distinctive portfolio case study combining detailed architectural views with aerial perspectives. The resulting imagery demonstrates the natural character of SSQ’s slate while giving the client a broader understanding of how the material sits within the completed North Devon property.
